We will cover kit must haves, three of my most requested eye looks, flawless base for every skin type, sculpting according to face shape, contouring, highlighting and concealing, perfecting brows, and best practices on social media to attract clients. THE COURSE
The itinerary below lays out what each class will look like. However, depending on how each class goes, we may shift things around a bit to best suit our progress.
Each class will begin promptly at 10am and finish at approximately at 4pm, depending on skill level, with a 30 minute lunch break halfway through.
Classes will be held midweek and can be flexible. For example, we may be able train for 3 consecutive days or 1 class per week for 3 weeks, etc.
Day 1:
Detailed Overview & Kit Must Haves:
In the first class you will receive a detailed manual that we will review together. The manual, which you will take home, covers the basics that are key to producing quality work. The manual will explain different skin types and corresponding skincare, how to apply makeup depending on the client's face shapes, color wheel theory, brow shaping and more. You will use all this knowledge for the remainder of the program. We will also break down your kit to make sure you have everything you need to execute your work flawlessly and I will share with you my must-have products for your kit!
Model Run:
For the first class, you will do a single makeup look on the model from beginning to end so that I can evaluate your work and see your skill level. This will help me customize the rest of the classes to your needs and strengths.
Shimmer Eye:
One of my absolute most requested looks, the shimmery eye is a go-to for both brides and bridesmaids! It’s really my staple look and what we are most “known” for at Glamour Cosmetics. You also learn how to perfectly apply lashes so that they NEVER come undone.
Day 2:
Matte Eye With Winged Liner:
In this class you will learn how to create the perfect winged liner for every eye shape. We will cover tight lining, and also how to create a little smokiness to the winged liner for a more defused look!
Smokey Eye:
The smokey eye is a look that can be done in ANY color with ANY intensity, but when not executed correctly, it can look very underwhelming or messy. I will teach you the technique you need to create the most perfectly blended smokey eye whether you are working with a client that wants a more modern, natural smokey eye with a soft wash of color, or a bold intense traditional smokey eye.
Complexion Demo:
I will demonstrate a complexion look on the model while you watch and learn! I will show you how I achieve a glowy, soft glam look that clients LOVE, but also talk you through how I would make the skin look more “glam” and adjustments I would make based on the client’s desires. This is a great time for you to take notes on complexion as you will be taking it hands-on in your final class!
Day 3:
Eye look of your choice:
We will begin the class with having you execute an eye look of your choice from beginning to end with all the knowledge you learned in the first two classes. I will be there to guide you along the way.
Complexion:
During this class you will learn different application techniques for all skin types- which moisturizers, primers, foundations are best for oily, dry, or combination skin. You will also learn how to best sculpt a client’s face with different tones and placement techniques. I will apply on one side of the model’s face and you will mimic on the other side step by step. We will cover the best ways to use cream contour and highlight and how to blend seamlessly. You will gain a full understanding of how to apply contour and bronzer to help lift a client’s face. We will break down blush placement for different face shapes and how to ensure the client’s makeup lasts all night.
Photography:
Now that you have completed your model’s full look with complexion and eye look of your choice, we will take some images for you to use in your portfolio! I will show you how to edit the lighting in your photos to perfect them for posting!
Business and Social Media Consult:
Did you know that 40% of my inquiries come solely from Instagram? To complete your course, we will review social media strategies and I will teach you everything I know to pull in your ideal client through Instagram! We will also cover any business questions you may have!

Classes will be held at our Glamour Cosmetics studio at 10 Muzzey Street, Unit 5, Lexington MA 02421.
Payments: Payments can be made via check to Glamour Cosmetics and mailed to 10 Muzzey Street, Unit 5, Lexington MA 02421. Please note that there will be an additional $40 insufficient funds fee for any bounced checks.
$3,450 for tuition with payment plan below.
$1150.00 due at the time of agreement.

Products:
You will need to bring your full kit to the class. Below are a list of products you will need in order to achieve the look that we will be working on each day. If you do not have the exact products, a similar product that you have already will do just fine. If there is a product that you need, but don’t have, we can use mine as well!
Skincare, Beauty Blender/Makeup Sponge, Makeup Brushes/Applicators, Eyebrow pencil, powder or gel, Eyeshadow palette, pigments, etc., Eyeliner Pencils, Liquid or Gel Liner, Lashes, Lash Glue, Mascara, Primer, Foundation (we will be using traditional foundation for the class- not airbrush), Concealer, Setting Powder, Baking Powder, Bronzer, Blush, Highlight, Lip liner, Lipstick, Lipgloss.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Will a model be provided or will I have to bring in a model?
A model will be provided for the classes! When we schedule your classes, we will pick dates that work for yourself, myself, and the model!
Am I able to record the class?
Yes! You are able to record the class. Please note that you will be responsible for recording with your own phone or camera. Be sure you have plenty of storage!
Will I receive a certificate from Glamour Cosmetics?
Yes! You will receive a certificate that you will be able to use to apply for professional discounts from different makeup brands. Different brands will have different requirements to qualify for their professional discounts. While the certificate does not guarantee that you will receive your professional discount, it will at the very least help you in your application process.
Will I be able to advertise that I was trained by you on my Instagram/website?
Absolutely! Adding this course to your credentials will help set you apart from the rest of the industry!
